The Swan Hotel For Wet Projects

For the attention of  Mr. Lee Sheridan

Dear Lee

Re. The Swan Hotel, Newby Bridge, Cumbria. LA12 8NB

Following the extensive redesign of the bathrooms in our executive suites in October 2009 and more recently the refit to 28 deluxe rooms now nearing completion at the hotel we have an outstanding transformation to which we are all thankful.

Wet Projects have been a pleasure to have on board and have fulfilled the great vision and high expectations the directors had for the remodelling of the hotel.

As you are aware, I personally oversee all these works and understand the tight deadlines we have challenged you with and all throughout the continuous daily operations of a hotel during October /November you have had the up most respect without inconveniencing our guests.

The current project of 28 complete bathrooms is nearing completion and is looking remarkably well, our owners visited site earlier this week and were delighted with the finished rooms on the top floor.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the excellent service and quality of work undertaken and for your attention to detail together with the aftercare with the remedial works.

It is important to have positive feedback,  as nowadays we only ever appear to hear from the disappointed customers and clients and felt you should be personally aware of the commendable professional service that we have experienced from you yourself and the whole of your team on site and their support from the staff at your head office.

We are extremely pleased with the new look Swan Hotel and look forward to working with you again soon as we continue with our improvements throughout the hotel.

Yours sincerely,

For The Swan Hotel

WORLD CLASS SERVICE MD VISITS THE VENUE

Howard Raynor, Managing Director of World Class Service Ltd, a leading UK provider of customer service and service related performance solutions for the hospitality and lifestyle industry visited The Venue last week. Howard, who has an illustrious career that spans roles as CEO of The Bridgewater Hall and Urbis as well as other high profile senior management roles, was so impressed with what he saw that the very same day he wrote a great blog about it.

In the blog, Howard says,

“When I ran venues it was all too easy to become ‘building blind’ - I was unable to see what new customers see because I saw it every day, "practice makes mindless" as the saying goes. What The Venue does is provide some bright ideas in real physical settings. You would think in this day and age when you can survey Wallpaper, Coolhunter, Trendwatch and the like from your favourite screen that there would be no place for an physical think-tank like this. Yet, as Neil Guest proved to me today, you would be wrong. Seeing and touching is inspiring; understanding how materials feel and look together in multiple colourways made me think. The new layouts made me think about what's possible and what's next.”

Said Neil Guest, MD of The Venue,

“Howard’s breadth of experience of our industry and reputation in the sector is phenomenal and we were delighted to welcome him to The Venue for a visit and show him our Phase II plans. “

Said owner and MD of The Venue, Neil Guest, “As well as being committed to developing the most spectacular showcase for each facet of the industry we have had to be extremely discerning in terms of our choice of partner companies. We believe we have brought together the most potent mix of businesses, all leaders in their field. The reaction from the launch event was exactly as we hoped, guests were absolutely stunned by the quality of the setting and the whole experience.” Other events are planned for the New Year so please let us know if you would like to added to our guest list.
